Negative COVID-19 results for 247 repatriates [1]

The 247 passengers that were repatriated from Auckland, Pagopago and Apia last week have tested negative for COVID-19.

MEIDECC CEO Paula Ma’u said today, the results were all negative.

241 people were repatriated from Auckland on May 5. While, three returned from Apia and another three from Pagopago on May 6.

All are being quarantined for 21-days at Tanoa Hotel and Makeke Camp in Vaini.
