Organisations questioned on Pacific aid [1]

Key organisations with an interest in Australia's $766 million aid program in the Pacific will appear at a public hearing of federal parliament's Human Rights Sub-Committee in Sydney on 2 May, commencing at 2:00pm.
The Sub-Committee will hear from the federal government's Office for Women and the Lowy Institute for International Policy at the hearing.
Oxfam Australia and the Australian Red Cross will also outline their roles and experiences in delivering aid programs in a range of Pacific countries. House of Representatives Liaison & Projects Office, 30/04/07.
