Setitaia Chen, who has been Tonga Power Ltd's Chief Executive Officer since August 2018, resigned last Friday, 23 April, due to family reasons.

Seti told Matangi Tonga he hopes to be back in the energy sector in future.

Prior to being CEO, Seti was Tonga Power’s General Manager Operations heading two departments, Network Distribution and the Design and Planning. He has more than 13-years experience in leadership positions, project management and electrical with electronic engineering

Meanwhile, Nikolasi Fonua is Tonga Power Ltd's Acting CEO.
