Repatriates released from quarantine after negative COVID-19 tests [1]

The 135 passengers repatriated from New Zealand and Fiji were released from quarantine today after testing negative for COVID-19 confirmed MEIDECC CEO Paula Ma’u.
This includes one flight attendant who was on the Lulutai Airlines aircraft that repatriated passengers from Fiji. The passengers were in quarantine for 21 days.
Paula said that 19 health and frontline workers also tested negative to COVID-19.
Repatriation flight cancelled
Meanwhile, plans for repatriation flights to Tonga on April 28 and 30 have been postponed with one flight cancelled.
Repatriation flights from New Zealand, Pagopago in American Samoa, and Fiji are now expected to arrive in the first week of May. The flight from Brisbane, Australia has been cancelled.
