More seasonal workers leave Tonga [1]

A total of 213 seasonal workers left Tonga last Friday, 9 April, to work in Adelaide, Australia.

Ministry of Internal Affairs CEO, Dr Fotu Fisi’iahi said today there are two more flights this month, but time and destinations will be confirmed in coming days when employers are ready.

Australia has been taking in more seasonal workers from Tonga and other Pacific Islands to help fill jobs in various states despite COVID-19.
