Negative COVID-19 result for 107 repatriates [1]

The 107 passengers repatriated from Brisbane, Australia on 11 February, have tested negative to CoViD-19 in their last round of testing, confirmed Chief Medical Officer (Public Health) Dr Reynold 'Ofanoa today.

The passengers were released from quarantine facilities this afternoon.

This is the second group of passengers to be quarantined for 21-days, without home isolation.

Previously, passengers were required to spend 14 days in managed quarantine and seven days in home isolation.

Meanwhile, two repatriation flights arrived this afternoon from Australia, and Fiji.

Another repatriation flight from New Zealand is scheduled to arrive next week on 10 March.
