Monthly repatriation flights to Tonga scheduled for 2021 [1]

Dates for repatriation flights to Tonga have been scheduled for the remainder of 2021, confirmed MEIDECC CEO Paula Ma’u today.
Last Friday, the Tongan Cabinet approved to continue with the 21 days quarantine for all repatriated passengers, allowing for repatriation flights to Tonga once a month.
“We are planning for the rest of this year and also next year unless Health advises us otherwise.”
Paula said the repatriation flight from Auckland that was postponed from the 3 March to 10 March, will not upset the new schedule for the year.
Repatriation flights are planned from New Zealand, Australia, and / or Fiji, starting from 31 March, then every four weeks up to December 21.

Meanwhile. two repatriation flights from Australia and Fiji are scheduled to arrive in Tonga tomorrow, 3 March.
