Repatriates from Australia test negative [1]

The 107 passengers who were repatriated from Australia on February 11 have all tested negative for CoViD-19 in their first testing. 

MEIDECC CEO Paula Ma’u confirmed the negative results today.

The passengers will be tested again at the end of their 21-days quarantine period.

They are currently being quarantined at Kupesi Hotel and Taliai Military Camp in Fua’amotu.

Meanwhile, Tonga's next repatriation flight is being planned for early March.
