Tongans receive NZ Early Childhood qualification [1]

Over 100 Early Childhood Education graduates from the Pacific community, mostly Tongans, received their certificates from an Auckland education provider on November 12.

The 119 graduates from the New Zealand Management Academies [NZMA] in Manukau completed their Level 4 Early Childhood Education home-based certificates.

Princess Mele Siu'ilikutapu Kalaniuvalu Fotofili presented the certificates, at the Lesieli Tonga Auditorium.

NZ media reported, last year that the New Zealand Government announced home-based early childhood teachers would need full qualifications to ensure better and more consistent education.
