The 25 repatriated passengers from the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu all tested negative for CoViD-19 and are now on one week home quarantine for added safety, confirmed Ministry of Health CEO, Dr Siale ‘Akau’ola yesterday afternoon.
These passengers arrived in Tonga on 5 September and spent 14 days in quarantine at the Tanoa Hotel before they were discharged to their homes.

Around 3,500 people have registered on the government’s repatriation list so far.
The next repatriation flight is planned to arrive in Tonga from Christchurch, New Zealand, during the first week of October.
