The Prosecution submitted, that the complainant and her husband were at home on September 21, 2019. At around 4:00am, the complainant woke up when she felt cold and when the offence occured.
She noticed that it was a man that was not her husband and who was smelling of alcohol. She called her husband, so this man, who was later identified as the accused, ran out of the bedroom to the living room.
After receiving information from others on the accused, the couple went to a vehicle that was parked not far from where they live. They saw a man passed out in the car, with empty beer cans.
The complainant and her husband went and reported the incident to the Police then returned with two Police Officers to where the vehicle was parked. She confirmed it was the accused, who was then arrested.
