Man jailed for meth possession [1]

Sioeli Tapueluelu was jailed for nine-months imprisonment for possession of 3.37 grams of methamphetamine, at the Supreme Court last week.
He received a starting point of one-year three-months imprisonment, which was reduced for his early guilty plea.
The accused then received a final sentence of nine-months imprisonment.
The Court heard on July 5, 2019 at Havelu, he was found with the meth. He pleaded guilty to the offence in July.
The Prosecution submitted that one of the aggravating features in this case was the considerable amount of methamphetamine, over 3 grams respectively that was seized.
Meanwhile, the sentence was backdated to when the accused was first detained.
