Illicit drugs seized by Tonga Police. 21 August 2020.

Two men were arrested with methamphetamine and cannabis at a home in Mataika on August 21. 

Police today said two packs of methamphetamine weighing 0.54 grams, cannabis weighing 2.71 grams, $1,400 pa’anga cash and drug utensils were siezed.

The accused, aged 27 and 35 years, have been charged with possession of illicit drugs.

They remained in police custody to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on a later date. 

The drug bust was carried out the home of one accused.
