Taliai Military Camp.

The death of an 18-year-old new recruit at Taliai Military Camp in Fua'amotu on Monday, July 27 has been ruled a suicide.

Acting Deputy Police Commissioner Tevita Vailea said today, an inquest held on July 30 confirmed the death as such.

The body was found at the military camp at 6:00am.

The victim was a new recruit for His Majesty's Armed Forces (HMAF).
