Seven arrested with more illicit drugs [1]

Seven people were arrested with methamphetamine and cannabis in ongoing Police operation in Tongatapu from July 16-28.
The Police Drug Enforcement Taskforce in six different locations seized 4.96 grams of methamphetamine, 3.81 grams of cannabis, eight cannabis plants, drug utensils and cash.
The seizure was executed at three homes in Hala-'o-vave, Tofoa and Pili and on the road at Hihifo, Hala Loto in Tokomololo and Pili.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Tevita Vailea said today, the Taskforce continued their efforts to disrupt the supply of illicit drugs that negatively impact our communities, targeting drug dealers who sell drugs from vehicles.
The six men and one woman have been charged and will appear at the the Magistrate’s Court on a later date.
"We are committed to disrupt and detect the supply of drugs and hold those responsible to account."
