Two arrested with meth in vehicle [1]

Two men were arrested with methamphetamine on June 19 in ongoing Tonga Police operations targeting drug dealers in their vehicles.
Police said that the men were arrested in a vehicle at Ma’ufanga, with 0.87 grams of methamphetamine, 26 bullets, drug utensils and around $200 pa'anga cash.
The accused from Longolongo and Hofoa have been charged with possession of illicit drugs and ammunition. They will appear at the Magistrate's Court on a date to be confirmed.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Tevita Vailea said today, preventing illicit drugs supply is a high priority for the Police, and they would continue to target those who supply drugs within our community and hold them to account for their crimes.
