The Tongan Government'’s Reconstruction Committee will hold a workshop beginning tomorrow to brief local businesses, the community and all other relevant counterparts on the proposed reconstruction plan for the capital Nuku'alofa.

The week-long workshop to be held at the International Dateline Hotel.

'‘Ofa Finau of the Ministry of Transport whose Minister, Hon. Paul Karalus, is a member of the Government Reconstruction Committee and one of the organisers of the workshop, said today, that the workshop will facilitate briefings on the proposed plans for the capital.

She said that the Manukau City and Pro Design Architects the town planners who were hired to plan the central Nuku...’alofa area will not be attending the workshop tomorrow, as expected, instead they would arrive in Nuku'alofa next week and the program of their visit will be confirmed then.

The workshop tomorrow will entirely focus on the reconstruction committee's presentation and briefing on Government...’s plan for the capital, she said.
