51st Pacific Islands Forum to be deferred to next year [1]

The Government of Vanuatu has advised Forum members of its intention to defer the 51st Pacific Islands Forum Meeting that was scheduled for August 4-7 this year in Vanuatu, to next year, because of the CoViD-19 pandemic.
The Chair of the Pacific Islands Forum and Prime MInister of Tuvalu Hon. Kausea Natano will consult the Forum Membership and advise on the next meeting of the Pacific Islands Forum, the secretariat said today.
