Teen arrested in Ned Cook's homicide [1]

A 19-year-old boy has been arrested in relation to the death of Ned Cook who was allegedly assaulted on Friday night, May 15 on Vuna Road, Ma'ufanga.

Acting Deputy Commissioner Tevita Vailea said this afternoon, the accused from Ma'ufanga was arrested on Sunday, May 17.

The homicide investigation continues to determine the full circumstances of the victim's death. The Salvation Army Team Leader, Ned Cook, died on Sunday, May 17 at Vaiola Hospital.

Further information will be released when it becomes available, said the A/Deputy Commissioner.
