Accused in 3kg meth seizure pleads not guilty [1]

Lisiate ‘Otuhouma (29), charged in the seizure of three kilograms of methamphetamine at Fahefa, has pleaded not guilty at the Supreme Court.
His case is adjourned to June 25 to fix a trial date.
Prosecution said today, the accused pleaded not guilty to one count of possession on April 21.
The methamphetamine was seized by Police at his home on April 17, 2019.
The accused has been granted bail on strict conditions that he surrender his passport to Court and is prohibited from traveling outside of Tongatapu.
The accused must also report to the Nukunuku Police station every Monday and Friday, among other bail conditions.
