Four arrested in meth bust [1]

Four people were arrested after the seizure of 2.14 grams of methamphetamine at a residence in Kapeta, Kolomotu’a on April 11. 

Tonga Police spokesperson said today, the three men and one woman were arrested, after the seizure of the illicit drug, over $400 pa’anga cash and drug utensils.

They have been charged accordingly and are still in police custody.

The offences were committed during police operation during the national lockdown due to COVID-19.
