New Zealand police have confirmed that the shooting death of a 57-year-old Tongan born mother Meliame Fisi‘ihoi at a Manukau residence last Wednesday, is the second shooting to have occurred at the property, located on Calthorp Close, in the space of just over a month.

The first shooting occurred on 4 December in which one man was injured and later discharged from hospital. New Zealand Police are currently investigating the shootings and are yet to identify the culprits.

Meliame’s tragic passing is believed to have occurred on early Wednesday morning last week when her body was discovered on the property. A givealittle page [2] has been set up to help Meliame’s family.
