Fasi man identified as second burn victim [1]

Police have identified the remains of a second victim of the seven people confirmed to have died in the fire that gutted the Shoreline Building set alight by arsonists on November 16.
The Tonga Police Commander, Sinilau Kolokihakaufisi, said today that the remains were those of Tevita Tu'ipulotu who was also known by the name of Senituli Tauki'uvea, a 20 year old man from Fasi mo e Afi, Nuku'alofa.
Sinilau said that they were able to identify the second body on December 7, and the five other remains are awaiting identification from DNA samples that were sent to Australia for processing.
The Police on November 29 identified the first remains as those of Talaiasi Malamala a married man from the village of Tofoa.
Meanwhile, the remains of the five other victims are being kept at a temporary mortuary at the police station for identification before they will be released to their families for proper burial.
