Students arrested in bus stop violence [1]

Eight boys from Liahona High School and Tonga College have been arrested and charged, in relation to a school brawl on October 26, in Nuku'alofa.

Tonga Police today said, the accused were arrested after the fight occured between students at the bus station on Saturday afternoon.

The eight, who include five from Liahona High School and three from Tonga College, have been similarly charged with assault and public disorder.

As of today, they were still in police custody pending Court appearances.
