Former NRL player ‘Aukafolau suffers head trauma [1]

A former Paramatta Eels rugby league player Eric 'Aukafolau, was critically injured while on holiday last week in Bali, Indonesia. He suffered serious head trauma, reportedly in a motorbike accident. 

Eric survived the accident after receiving life-saving emergency in an Indonesian Hospital but remained in critical condition. Over $65,000 has been raised to medically transport Eric back to Australia to receive further surgery and treatment. 

The Parramatta Eels released a media statement on their website, calling to support  Erics’s fundraiser on his Gofundme page at "Help bring Eric home". [2]

'Aukafolau started for the Parramatta Eels in 2015 but ended his career at the end of the season due to a knee injury. His brothers Dane and Noel 'Aukafolau both played for the Parramatta Eels under-20s team.
