Three men charged with murder at Holonga [1]

Three men were arrested and charged with the murder of a 35 year old man at Holonga on Sunday, October 6.

Acting Superintendent Siosifa Latu said Tonga Police arrested the three men early Sunday, in relation to the death of a man from Holonga. 

The victim died as a result of an incident  in Holonga, where the accused persons a 25-year-old man from Kolonga, and two 21-year-old men from Kolonga and Holonga allegedly assaulted him with metal rods on his head. 

A/Supt. Siosifa Latu commended police investigators for their commitment, which resulted in a quick arrest.

“This arrest provides reassurance to the family of the deceased and the community.”

The accused were detained in police custody, while the homicide investigation continued.
