Police name victim in Vava'u homicide [1]

Kevini Fifita (19) is the victim who died on September 28 after it was alleged that he was assaulted during a drunken fight at Tu’anekivale on Saturday night, September 28.

Tonga Police in releasing his name today, said he had sustained serious head injuries.

It was alleged that no weapon was used.

Meanwhile, the 16-year-old accused, who has been charged with his murder remains in custody. He is expected to appear on Monday, October 7, at the Magistrate’s Court in Neiafu.
