Man arrested with meth at Kolofo'ou [1]

A 55-year-old man from Kolofo’ou was arrested with 14 packs methamphetamine on September 25.

The Police Drug Enforcement Taskforce arrested the accused at his home in an ongoing drug operation. 

Deputy Police Commissioner Pelenatita Fe’ao Vaisuai said today the 14 packs of methamphetamine weighed 4.78 grams.

In addition, drug utensils and cash were seized.

He has been charged with possession of the illicit drug and is expected to appear on October 7, at the Fasi Magistrate's Court.

“We encourage anyone who may have information on drug related offences to contact their nearest Police station, on Police emergency 922 or 22782,” said the Deputy Commissioner.
