‘Ikale Tahi announces team to face All Blacks [1]

Siale Piutau will lead Tonga's World Cup team against the All Blacks at the FMG Stadium in Hamilton, New Zealand, tomorrow 7 September.

‘Ikale Tahi notables who will not be fielded include Ben Tameifuna, Nasi Manu, Telusa Veainu and Sitiveni Mafi.

Meanwhile, the All Black lineup led by Kieron Read, will exclude the likes of Sonny Bill Williams, Dane Coles and Reiko Ioane.

The ‘warm-up’ game will be the sixth rugby match played between the ‘Ikale Tahi and All Blacks. Their last matchup occurred at the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England, where the ‘Ikale Tahi were held tryless in a 47 – 9 defeat.
