Dr Siaosi Pakola Maeakafa, the International Officer for the Lavengamalie Institute of Technology, has been elected as a member of the Council for the Commercial Education Society of Australia (CESA) on 8 April 2019.
He will also represent the South Pacific on CESA.
The Lavengamalie Institute of Technology (LIT) was established in 2012 offering courses at Level 4, including Secretarial Work, Business Administration and Computerized Accounting. The Director, Sangstar Saulala said Dr Maeakafa’s success in connecting the Institute with CESA would elevate the Institute's study program, which provides opportunities for all ages, genders and education levels, for employment and further educational opportunities.
LIT is currently looking at establishing branches in Ha’apai and Vava’u.
Dr Maeakafa is also the Research Institute Manager of Christ’s University in Pacific.
