Driver in Vava’u fatal road crash named [1]

Tafini Tongia (49) was the driver who died in a road accident on August 23 at Ta’anea, Vava'u.

Tonga Police said the victim from Mataika died at the site of the crash, which occurred at around 6:45pm.

The vehicle had swerved and crashed into the tree.

This was the third road death recorded this year.
