Princess Angelika presents Letters of Credence to President Duterte [1]

HRH Princess Angelika Lātūfuipeka Tuku’aho, Tonga's High Commissioner to Canberra, visited the Philippines this week to present her Letters of Credence to President Rodrigo Duterte at the Malacanang Palace, Manila on July 24.
In presenting her Letters of Credence as the Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Tonga to the Republic of the Philippines, the Princess conveyed the greetings of HM King Tupou VI to HE President Rodrigo Duterte and “the best wishes of the Government and the People of Tonga to the Government and the people of the Philippines.”
During her visit to the Philippines the Princess met Tonga’s Honorary Consul to the Philippines, and Tongan Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also laid a wreath at the Rizal Monument. The Princess was accompanied by Curtis Tu’ihalangingie, Afuha’apai ‘Ahio from the Tongan High Commission in Canberra and Jan Catherine Sy, from the Honorary Consul of Tonga Office in Manila.
