Tonga Pacific Games Team fly Real Tonga charter to Apia [1]

Tonga's National Team travelling to the Pacific Games in Apia, Western Samoa, left Tonga yesterday morning on a Real Tonga charter flight. The flight was the first charter by the local airline of a B737-300.

The aircraft was chartered from Air Nauru to carry 80 passengers from Tongatapu to Apia.

The CEO of Real Tonga Mr Tevita Palu welcomed the airline's first B737-300 charter aircraft at Fua'amotu International Airport early on Thursday morning, with a short official program at the depature lounge.

The airline is launching a new international service from Tonga to Fiji return at the end of July.
