$3 million meth seized at Fahefa in “significant” arrest [1]

A 28-year-old-man was arrested with three kilograms of methamphetamine at his home in Fahefa, Tongatapu on April 17.
The Police Drug Enforcement Taskforce seized the illicit drug approximated to be worth TOP$3 million pa'anga during a drug operation.
“This arrest is significant and mark my words there will be more to come,” said Police Commissioner Stephen Caldwell today.
He applauded “the professionalism, courage and dedication of the Drug Enforcement Taskforce and the high level of public support to help police to rid our communities of these drug peddlers who profit from the misery and harm they cause.”
‘Utulau and Sopu
Two other men, a 21-year-old-man from ‘Utulau was arrested from his home with 0.80 grams of cannabis.
While, a 43-year-old-man from Sopu was arrested from his home with 0.95 grams of cannabis, 100 (.22) live ammunition, firearm magazine and drugs paraphernalia.
All suspects are in police custody as investigation continues.
