Man charged with illicit drugs offence remains in custody [1]

A  40-year-old man charged in relation to the seizure of 14.06 grams of alleged methamphetamine on March 17 is due to appear at the Fasi Magistrate’s Court next week.

Acting Chief Superintendent Tevita Vailea said today the accused from Lapaha remains in custody.

Investigation is still ongoing in regards to the seizure of the 21 packs of the substance at Ngele’ia.

The accused is charged on illicit drug offences.
