Mate Ma‘a Tonga to face GB Lions, Kiwis and Kangaroos in 2019 [1]

The Mate Ma’a Tonga are scheduled to play against Great Britain, New Zealand and Australia this year. The fixtures were announced by the NRL today 5 March. 

In a tour of the southern hemisphere, Great Britain’s Lions (England, Wales, Scotland, Ulster) will play Tonga on 26 October in Hamilton, New Zealand. Tonga will face Australia and New Zealand as part of the inaugural Oceania Cup.

Annual Pacific test matches between Tonga, Fiji, Samoa and Papua New Guinea remain unconfirmed.

Mate Ma’a Tonga schedule for 2019

Tonga vs New Zealand – 22 June 2019 – Mount Stadium, Auckland, New Zealand

Tonga vs Great Britain – 26 October 2019 – Hamilton, New Zealand

Tonga vs Australia – 2 November 2019 – Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand
