Police are investigating two reported break-ins at homes in the Nuku’alofa area, where Tongan valuables were stolen earlier this month.

On February 17, a complainant from Houmakelikao reported the home break in, where Tongan mats and other goods worth around $34,000 pa’anga were stolen. 

Later on February 20, a house at Tu’atakilangi was broken into. 

Police said Tongan mats and other goods valued at $6,500 pa’anga were reported by the complainants to have been stolen. 

They are investigating these two cases.
