Tu'ivakano case goes to Supreme Court [1]

The case of former Prime Minister, Lord Tu’ivakano will be called on March 11 at the Supreme Court in Nuku’alofa.
Committed from the Magistrate's Court, the case will be called before the Lord Chief Justice O.G. Paulsen, the Surpeme Court office confirmed today.
Lord Tu’ivakano, who was arrested in March last year was initially charged with numerous counts, including making a false declaration to obtain a passport, perjury, accepting bribes and money laundering.
He is currently Tongatapu No.1 Noble’s Representative to Parliament.
