Teen arrested for stabbing in CBD [1]

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in relation to the stabbing of another male teen who is in critical condition at Vaiola Hospital. 

Acting Chief Superintendent Tevita Vailea said today a fight broke out at around noon on Saturday, February 16 at an area in the Central Business District.

The victim from Nukunuku sustained serious injuries after being stabbed with a sharp object. He is reported to be in critical condition at the hospital, he said.

Meanwhile, the accused teen from Ha’ateiho who was arrested in relation to the stabbing remain in police custody.

Investigation continues.
