Cannabis seeds.

A 26-year-old man was arrested with cannabis seeds and ammunition at a bush allotment in Havelu on February 12.

Deputy Commissioner Pelenatita Vaisuai said Police Drugs Enforcement arrested the 26-year-old after seizing cannabis seeds, 10 live ammunition and drugs paraphernalia.

He has been charged with possession of the illicit drug and illegal ammunition. 

This is part of Police continuing efforts to disrupt the supply of illicit drugs that negatively impact our communities, she said.

The accused from Kolomotu'a is remanded in custody to appear at the Magistrate's Court on a date to be confirmed.
