A 32-year-old man from Longolongo has been charged with possession of illicit drugs namely cannabis, after being arrested in the Central Business District on January 20.

Police said today that the accused allegedly had five small packets of cannabis, which weighed 1.72 grams.

The cannabis was in the packets ready for sale.
