Teen who murdered farming couple gets more jail time for arson [1]

Sitiveni ‘Esi Muli (17) who is currently serving life imprisonment for the murders of Mr Feng Sheng Pei and Mrs Su Jie Wen was sentenced on January 23 for serious arson.
Hon Mr Justice Cato sentenced him to three-years imprisonment on the serious arson for burning the couple’s motor vehicle.
The sentence is being served concurrently with Muli’s current sentences.
This includes life imprisonment sentence for the murders and an 11-years imprisonment sentence for armed robbery.
Muli had pleaded guilty to serious arson at the start of the murder trial last week but was only sentenced on this count yesterday.
On January 17, a jury had found Muli guilty of the murders and the armed robbery and was sentenced by Hon Mr Justice Cato.
This was after nearly two-weeks of trial at the Supreme Court in Nuku’alofa.
