The Flying Fijians defeated France 21 – 14 on Saturday 24 November, securing a strong finish to their tour of the northern hemisphere, two weeks after suffering a huge 54 – 17 loss to Scotland.

France led 14 – 12 at halftime, but were lifeless in the second half as Fiji converted three penalties in a row. The historic win marks the first time Fiji has ever beaten France in a total of 10 games played between the two countries.
