Tonga grabs win at OFC Women’s Nations Cup [1]

The Tonga Women’s national soccer team defeated the Cook Islands 1 – 0 in their final game of the OFC Women’s Nations Cup in New Caledonia yesterday, 25 November. Tonga’s winning goal was scored by Laveni Vaka.

It was a positive end for the Tonga Women’s soccer team who were outclassed in their other matches in the tournament, held scoreless by Fiji 12 – 0 and New Zealand 11 – 0.
