Georgia beats ‘Ikale Tahi 20 – 9 [1]

The ‘Ikale Tahi were unable to score a try against Georgia this morning, losing the final game of their Northern tour in the Georgian capital Tblisi.

Sonatane Takulua converted two penalties early in the first half to put Tonga ahead 6 – 0.

Georgia overcame the deficit with a try to lead 7 – 6 at halftime. In the second-half, Georgia maintained their lead and scored their second try in overtime to earn a convincing victory.

All of Tonga’s points were scored by Sonatane Takulua in the form of three converted penalties.
