Toutai Kefu was optimistic that a win over Georgia would end the ‘Ikale Tahi's 2018 tour of the Northern Hemisphere on a high note, by winning two of their three games.

With regards to their disappointment over the score against Wales, Toutai was not eager to enter into a discussion over the normal frustrating situation that Rugby Unions such as Tonga have to go through to select players to play in international games. He pointed out that some of his preferred players were tied up with their commitments to their clubs and were not available.

He told an online Press Conference that Wales ranks No. 3 in the world, and he said that although they thought they could hold it out when the score was 24 all after half time, Wales suddenly turned things around.

However, Toutai was optimistic that the ‘Ikale Tahi would be able to remain at No. 12 in the Rugby International Ranking this season, although Georgia had recently dropped from No. 13 to No. 15.

The ‘Ikale Tahi’s game with Georgia will be be the Mikhell Meskhi Stadium, Tbilisi, Georgia at 6pm, November 24 (3:00am November 25 Tonga time).
