Man detained in $460,000 meth seizure [1]

A 41-year-old man arrested in relation to the seizure of $460,000 pa’anga worth of methamphetamine in Kanokupolu on November 14, remains in custody, pending court later this week.
Tonga Police said today the accused had been charged with possession of illicit drugs.
He will remain in custody at the Central Police Station until an appearance at the Fasi Magistrate's Court.
The meth, which weighed around 464 grams was seized by a Tonga Police Drugs Enforcement Taskforce with police dogs, during a search warrant executed at a home on November 14.
