A 44-year-old woman has been charged with assaulting her 47-year-old husband allegedly during a drunken argument early Sunday morning, October 21 at a home in Popua.

Acting Chief Superintendent Tevita Vailea said today both were intoxicated during the argument.

It is alleged that the wife assaulted her husband on the head with a broken glass bottle.

He was rushed to Vaiola Hospital and has been treated for his injury.
