Thirty-seven cannabis packets and cannabis branches were seized from a home at an area called Hauloto, situated near Liahona in Tongatapu on October 17.

Acting Chief Superintendent Tevita Vailea said today a 39-year-old man was arrested during the police search.

He said officers seized the cannabis packets, which weighed around 127.75 grams, in addition to cannabis branches.

The accused has been charged with possession of the illicit drug pending trial.
