Australian scholarships for 37 Tongan students [1]

The Australian Government last week offered scholarships to 37 Tongan citizens. Fifteen of the recipients will study in Australia while 22 will study in Fiji, Samoa and Vanuatu. 

The scholarships are diverse and cover a variety of areas from a Masters’ degree in Climate Change to a Bachelors’ degree in Dentistry.

The Tonga Government stated yesterday that the scholarships were administered by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
